Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics.
Students and Non-Medical Professionals: We take new volunteers as the need arises for our four medical clinics and two dental clinics. Orientations are typically held 2 to 3 times a year. If interested in volunteering, please download and fill out our latest volunteer application and attach a copy of your required immunization records, which are listed in the application and submit it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your application will be reviewed during the application cycle and if selected, we will contact you with further information of the volunteer process. Thanks again for your interest!
CURRENT APPLICATION CYCLES:
Medical Assistant Volunteers
Medical Assistant Volunteers are trained during orientation to work in a clinical environment. Medical Assistants will assist in patient flow, take vitals, enroll patients into Patient Portal, and other clerical duties as assigned.
Applications are now closed for fall 2017.
We appreciate your interest and hope that you continue to monitor our website for further volunteer opportunities.
Please Note: Because of the high volume of applications that are submitted during the cycle period, it is not a guarantee that every applicant will receive a telephone call for an interview.
If you are selected after your interview to be a Medical Assistant Volunteer, please be advised that you must attend orientation in order for you to volunteer at any of our clinics.
SPRING CYCLE IS NOW BEING POSTPONED DUE TO THE UNFORTUNATE EVENTS THAT HAVE TAKEN PLACE FROM THE MUDSLIDE. THE DATE TO REOPEN IS STILL BEING DETERMINED. WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE.
